Air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps are powerful, versatile pumps used in up to 90% of manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. These should not be confused with diaphragm pumps, as AODD pumps use compressed air and a complex distribution system that reduces wear and tear on the diaphragm. Furthermore, AODD pumps can be used in transfer applications rather than just for metering and dosing.

Air Master manufactures a range of these pumps in multiple sizes and weights to meet the needs of any individual or business.

Product Details

Almost all Air Master - Air Operated Double Diaphragm (AODD) Pumps are made from aluminum and Santoprene, although some are manufactured with aluminum and Teflon. Air Master's AODD pumps have variable flow pressures and head pressures. They can be submerged if need be, are self-priming, and can even run dry without incurring damage. They are fully grounded and designed without seals to keep costs reasonable.
