The Roper 3611HB - 2" Gear Pump is a helical gear pump. It has a cast iron body, hardened iron gears, bronze bearings, graphite packing, and steel shafts. The base plates, belt guards, and shaft guards are heavy-duty steel. Roper designed these to meet safety specifications and the entire pump is compliant with California Proposition 65.
The pump motor is completely enclosed, and the pump is designed to be mounted on a stationary base. The pumping gears are heat-treated so the device will not only operate efficiently but also quietly. Pumping gears have been keyed to the shaft with a sliding fit so users can replace the gears with ease should the need arise. It can handle both fixed and mobile transfers.
